O-Town Sound is comprised of women from all walks of life who share a love of a cappella harmony. The chorus formed in 2011 out of a love of singing, learning and friendship and has had major achievements in annual competitions. O-Town Sound holds the distinction of being the region's 2019 AA division champion and second place overall medalist, which is essentially the entire State of Florida. In addition, O-Town Sound achieved a fifth place standing in Las Vegas at the 2017 Harmony Classic competition. This competition features the top scoring mid-sized choruses in all of Sweet Adelines International!
After the retirement of Master Director Kay Webb in April of 2020, O-Town Sound appointed Ali Pauluhn Bias as interim director. Ali had been a Sweet Adeline for seven years and has sung with O-Town Sound since 2016. She has served as Tenor Section Leader and also sings Tenor with her quartet, Speakeasy (4th Place, 2018). In January of 2022, we were thrilled to appoint Ali as our full-time Director. She is continuing her studies in the SAI Director Certification Program as she guides O-Town Sound in the latest chapter of our chorus story.
